Mission & Vision

We believe in the healing power of shared experience. Born from the military dive world and built by veterans and first responders, Bubbles for Vets is more than a program—it’s a chance to reconnect.

Our mission is to bring families closer together through trauma-informed scuba diving adventures that combine certified training, personalized support, and powerful therapeutic outcomes.

Every detail—from lodging to underwater coaching—is designed to rebuild trust, reduce isolation, and foster lasting connection.

Understand the Science

Scuba diving creates a powerful physiological shift. The slow, rhythmic breathing calms the nervous system, and the weightlessness relieves physical tension. The quiet, immersive environment helps reduce sensory overload—something many veterans and first responders experience daily. It’s not just calming; it’s regulating.

Combined with trauma-informed instruction and shared purpose, diving offers a whole-body reset that talk therapy alone often can’t reach.

Our Impact

Since launching, we’ve:

  • Fully funded dozens of family dive adventures
  • Helped reduce PTSD and chronic anxiety in participants
  • Provided over 100 hours of follow-up counseling
  • Built a peer network of support that lasts long after the dive

We’ve seen firsthand how one weekend of underwater healing can change the course of a life—or a family.
